Hamburg is the home of Jil Sander, Wofgang Joop and other distinguished Germans and It’s just a block away from the Hauptbanhof or train station as it’s known in English. The hotel was formerly the location of one of Germany’s most famous Bordello’s and the decor reflects the activities that took place there during it’s infamous past.

As soon as you walk in to the place, it’s as if you’ve taken a step back in time. The original “ceiling mirrors” over the beds are still in place for today’s hotel guests to enjoy. It has also been the location for many of this studios most erotic shoots.

…..Here at the studio, we’re quite certain that when Bruce Springsteen wrote his famous song, “Jersey Girl”, he was surely referring to girls like Alison Dunlap, a native of the Garden State. In his song Springsteen wrote; “Nothing matters in this whole wide world…When you’re in love with a Jersey Girl.”

Talent, a natural beauty, great wit and a distinctive charm are some of the qualities that got our attention here at the studio. An accomplished commercail photographer working out of her home in the Tacony section of New Jersey, Alison loves to take pictures and model as well. She credits David LaChapelle, Helmut Newton and Joel-Peter Witkin as a few artist’s that have inspired her. Her commercial work has a clean and crisp edge to it while she describes her personal work as more, “playful yet a provacative mixture of sensuality and sarcasm.”

TW arrived at her home on a perfectly sunny day, a short distance from the studio just over the Delaware River on the way to the shore. The daughter of a contractor father, Alison is very handy around the house. She basically can fix anything, a testament to her independence and ability to construct complex sets for a single photograph.

……When the email arrived with an attached photo of an attractive woman holding a book entitled Orgasm, it certainly got a lot of attention at the studio. An assistant commented “she must be a fan”. The planning, the execution of the picture was clever, striking and the model was exotic looking. The book that she was holding was published in the year 2000 by yours truly. It was quite a compliment.

We learned that the picture was a self-portrait or “self’y” as Alejandra Guerrero affectionately describes her passion for often making herself a subject. It has been exciting to watch the talented Columbian born, 30 year old, rise to the rank of international photographer.

Alejandra calls Chicago her home and is currently where she resides. However, she also shoots in LA and is currently abroad working on various projects in Scotland and England at the present time. Sex In Cars

….As she began the five hour drive heading East along the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Cortney called the studio from her car. She informed the studio assistant that she had just left Pittsburg and would be arriving on schedule for her 3:00 PM photo shoot. She also mentioned she was the proud owner of a seventy something Cadillac, a gift from her latest, very generous sugar daddy.

As the assistant described to TW the exaltation that was expressed about the purchase of the car, he thought perhaps it would be wise to produce pictures of Cortney around the car since she loved it so much.

The assistants got the garage of the studio prepared for her arrival. The lead assistant headed to the prop room to pull backdrops for the shot knowing that TW wanted to create an atmosphere that evoked the mood of sex, since Cortney was known to exude sexual energy when performing before the camera. Cortney like many of us, discovered the joys of sex during those youthful years, in the back seat of a car. Some would argue, auto erotica fueled the drive in movie theater business during it’s heyday……

At Home With Becky Lewis

…..When you enter her home even on the brightest of days it’s dark. The first thing you notice are the black walls. Ms. Lewis chose black because it has a calming effect on her. Perhaps a way to escape the hustle and bustle of Philadelphia’s, Port Richmond neighborhood. She didn’t grow up in the city however, and that’s where her story get’s more interesting.

Becky grew up in the suburbs of Wilmington, Delaware, which she asserts she hated as a child. Her father an emergency room physician. Her mother a registered nurse. She absolutely adores her parents. Good schools, private schools at that, can do great things for the mind of a child. The education opened up many doors to Becky’s inherent creativity. She left the nest early however, just eighteen. College was not in the cards, a yearning for life in a bigger city, she moved to the city of brotherly love.

Fascinated by tattoo’s at an early age, the arrival in to the big city provided her access to Philadelphia’s sizable tattoo culture. Ms. Lewis has become one of the icons of that culture. You’ll be seeing and hearing more about Ms. Lewis soon……

……Whenever I am traveling to LA to produce new work, I always call my friend Miles Long to see who’s in town that needs a new set of pictures. Miles works almost exclusively in the adult film industry and knows all the key players in Hollywood. He checked around and got back to me with a recommendation to photograph Ashlynn Brooke, a rising star in the adult entertainment business. Miles and I have worked together on various projects over the years, so I trusted his recommendation to set some time aside to work with the promising young talent.

Ashlynn arrived at my suite at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood along with her makeup artist, a Mexican born beauty by the name of Rosalinda Macias. I highly recommend the Sunset Marquis. The rooms are large, with a view of an indoor court yard and a pool. The service is excellent and just a stones throw from Sunset Strip. Not a bad place to hang out after the shoot.

Ashlynn was a joy to work with. She had a comfort with her body that made photographing her automatic. Originally from a small town in Oklahoma, Ashlynn adapted quite quickly to her new vocation and lifestyle and has developed a reputation for her ability to take care of business on the set……

It is hard to believe that a decade has passed since I published my first two books on erotic photography with the charming little bookstore, La Musardine located at 122 rue du chemin-Vert, Paris. Friends in the states informed me about the renowned French publisher, and its hardcore counterpart Alixe Editions. At the time, the late 90’s, I had found an outlet for publishing my most challenging erotic work under the creative direction of Penthouse founder and publisher, Bob Guccione. Many of the pictures that were originally photographed for Penthouse, were later published in my first two volumes Ogasm and OrgasmXL, under the editorial supervision of La Musardine owner Claude Bard and his insightful assistant and Anne Hautecoeur.

My first visit to meet Claude and Anne was a short walk from my apartment in Menilmontant, through the beautiful Pere Lachaise cemetery, were many notibles were laid to rest. A short distance to the unique erotic bookstore, La Musardine is mixed in with a variety of apartments, business’s and delicious French pastry shops, that are located along the busy Parisian street, If you don’t pay careful attention as you got close to the address, you could easily walk past it, as I have on many occasions. Once you enter the shop, hundreds of books lining the walls of the quaint environment overwhelm you. Erotic titles that you would never imagine would ever be published could be found in La Musardine’s extensive library. It was an education in itself, just looking around at all the literary works and photography books published on the subjects of sex and erotica. I knew at once that I found the right publisher for my vision and erotic imagination……..
